Overtime refers to any hours worked by an employee that exceed their normal working hours. Recording the correct data on overtime work done by the employee is very important in calculating compensation. My Payroll Master helps you record data on Overtime Work accurately and calculate the hours automatically. This video explains the steps involved in this process as well as the options you have.
To verify overtime data,
Go to attendance -> Click on Verify Overtime
Here, you have the option to filter data month wise, branch wise and employee wise.
► You can select a particular branch or employee or click on Select All.
► Click on List Overtime
If you have fixed overtime rule in shift policy, only that data will come here.
► To verify data, click on 'Not Approved' tab.
Here, search box is available to select employee. Click on the green button corresponding to that particular employee's name and you will see the employee overtime details.In this calendar only overtime recorded in and out will be shown. If you have fixed 45 minutes before and after regular hours, that will show in details.From this we can know if the employee worked overtime before the shift or after the shift.
You can also see the day-wise OT duration in hours and minutes here. Also you will see the total duration of OT in a month, in hours and minutes. When you click the Generate button, you will get the data in PDF.
If you want to increase or reduce employee overtime:
Click OT button -> Here you will see employees actual OT time in hours and minutes -> Change actual data in minutes -> Select the data and click 'Approve Selected' -> To see the approved data, click on 'Approved Overtime' tab -> By clicking on the corresponding green button, you may also see the approved details
