Payroll processing is an essential business function that involves arriving and the net pay of the employees after the adjustment of necessary taxes and deductions. This video explains how to process payroll in a few simple steps with My Payroll Master.
Processing payroll accurately is important for efficient payroll management
For this, go to payroll menu -> Click on Process Payroll -> Select branch, then month -> Click on List. Here only attendance verified employees data will come -> We can process payroll individually and in bulk
Here we have the option to select employee. If you want to select a particular employee and process payroll, you can do so by clicking on the Select Employee tab.
Next, you have Include Tax option. As the details entered in previous form, if the employee is having tax deductions, you need to give Yes in the Include Tax tab. Then TDS will automatically come in payroll.
To process individually, click the check box of that particular employee and click on Process button.
If you want to process in bulk, click on the top most checkbox. Then click on Process button, By clicking on Process button, the data will go to Processed tab. So, payroll work is completed.
In the Processed Payroll section, you can see the processed employee details such as Employee Name, Working Days, Loss of Pay, Monthly CTC, Gross Salary, Net Salary etc.
To view slip, click on the View Slip option. Here we can see the employee's salary details such as Heads for Monthly Earnings, Heads for Deductions, Net Pay, CTC etc. You can also see the uploaded variables here.
If you have set OT, it will come here automatically. To view the salary data, the payroll needs to be processed first.
If you want to add or remove any employee, Remove option is available. For this, select an employee, then click on Remove button.
If the payroll is already approved, it can't be edited or removed. It will be shown in green colour.
In the Processed section also, we have the option to Select Employee. Like this, you can process payroll with just one click.
