As employees themselves are entering Attendance data, errors are likely to happen. When this happens, responsible HR manager can edit the wrongly entered data by editing. Here are the steps and options for the same.
To edit attendance, go to Attendance -> Choose the option Edit Attendance
Now you can edit existing attendance details or create new attendance entry
► To edit attendance, first select an employee -> Select Month -> Here you will find Log Date, Attendance Start time and End time, Day-wise Duration, Status(Present, absent etc.) and Action
Next we are focusing on How to create attendance
Suppose an employee forgot or could not Punch out. In order to add out time,
Click Edit button -> If you are giving new entry, click New button -> Here you will see the date of attendance. Add the 'out' time -> Choose 'Out' from options in Direction -> In Remarks, you may add the explanation -> Click Save
Like this, you may edit attendance data.
Next we are focusing on how to edit attendance.
Change Direction(In/Out)
Suppose an employee has punched 'In' instead of 'Out'. In that case,
First choose the date -> Click the 'Edit' button -> Change the direction -> Click 'Save' button
Remove invalid attendance entry
Click on the attendance and click Edit -> Remove the tick mark -> Once done, click Save
To see the inactive entry, click Include Inactive button. Update Amendments button is used to save the changes made in the attendance
By clicking Update Amendments, updated changes attendance will be shown in all attendance-related menus. Like this we may edit or add employee attendance
